1Arrive Kuala Lumpur

Welcome on board to your "Malaysia – Truly Asia" tour. A local representative from Purple Journeys greets you at the designated meeting point and transfers to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur . Check in and freshen up (Check in is usually after 1400 hrs; Early check-in is subject to availability). Feel free to enjoy the rest of the day as you please.

Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

After breakfast, proceed on a city-tour of Kuala Lumpur. Visit the National Monument, the Istana Negara (National Palace), the National Mosque and Merdeka Square with the Tudor-style Royal Selangor Club in the background. We will then pass by the iconic and imposing Petronas twin towers. You will see the diversity in this city that makes it ‘Truly Asia’.

Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur isn’t just a center for self-indulgence and high-end pursuits. There are several parks in and around the city that one can visit to escape the influx of consumerism. After breakfast today we leave the city for a full-day Genting Outdoor Theme Park tour. En-route we visit the Batu Caves dedicated to Lord Murugan (Kartikeya), a revered Hindu deity. From here onwards, we go on a full day sightseeing tour to Genting Highlands; a magnificent city perched on a hilltop close to 2,000 meters above the sea-level. Genting Highlands offer a unique experience to those wishing for a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite being close to KL, it offers cool, crisp mountain air as well as lush green forests. The park is also famous for offering a range of thrilling rides.

Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Take care of any last minute souvenir shopping or sightseeing as time permits. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
